C.A.R.E. Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month, this week at 7pm at Terry's Corner Windemere, corner of Sunrise and SR 532. On May 20 CARE moves forward with our plan of action for 2010 and beyond. We are in the final stages of planning the educational program for Camano Honors Earth. CARE will be participating in Camoceans Day and needs volunteers. We will continue our discussion on Water Quality and groundwater developments on the Island, the planned Shorelines and Fish and Wildlife ordinance , and the Island County non-point pollution plan. We will also give updates on the Tanelian trucking company on Lands Hill. Please call Joan Schrammeck, 387-9589, for questions or directions.
