Wednesday, March 17, 7 p.m. Wildlife Habitat Program: Learn Low Impact Development for your Backyard Learn how to use Low Impact Development to reduce stormwater run-off and pollution and to provide healthier soils and aquifers. At 7 p.m. Wed., March 17, at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 East Camano Drive, Zsofia Pastor, Certified Professional Horticulturist and Organic Landscape Designer, will share techniques that can be implemented by homeowners as do-it-yourself projects using old and new landscaping technologies that will lead to thriving native vegetation, increased wildlife, and happier people. This presentation is part of a public education series hosted the third Wednesday of the month by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks as part of the Island County watershed project.
